Overview
The UP17 Achiever Plus Series inverter driven three stage heat pump is part of a new line of Ruud smart heating, cooling and water heating products. Using the latest in sensor technology and a powerful EcoNet monitoring system, Ruud provides homeowners with a new level of protection, control and energy savings. Ruud smart heating, cooling and water heating products will alert the homeowner if there is ever an issue via the EcoNet Smart Thermostat (not included) and the EcoNet Mobile app. The EcoNet Mobile App makes it easy for homeowners to manage their home comfort environment at home or on the go, while enjoying the convenience and savings benefits of a highly efficient system.

- Curved louvered panels with powder coat paint provide the ultimate coil protection, enhance cabinet strength and increase cabinet rigidity
- Composite base pan dampens sound, captures louver panels, eliminates corrosion and reduces the number of fasteners needed
- Single row condenser coil
- Inverter driven, variable speed compressor provides three stages of heating and cooling operation
- PlusOne expanded valve space provides a minimum working area of 27 square inches for easier access
- PlusOne triple service access provides a 15 inch wide industry leading corner service access with two fastener removeable corner and individual louver panels
- Enhanced mufflers help to dissipate vibration energy for quieter unit operation
- Integrated heat pump lift receptacle allows standard CPVC stands to be inserted into the base
- Diagnostic service window with two fastener opening provides access to the TXV valve and the heat pump reversing valve
- Fan motor harness with extra long wires allows the unit top to be removed without disconnecting the fan
- Optimized reversing valve sizing improves shifting performance for quieter operation and longer life
- Optimized defrost characteristics decrease defrosting and provide better home comfort
- Equipped with an electronic expansion valve to precisely control variable refrigerant flow
- Service trays hold fasteners and caps during service calls
- External access to the low loss gauge ports
- QR code provides technical information on demand for faster service calls
