The UltraLite(R) Equipment pads are composed of Type 1 expanded polystyrene foam (EPS) having a nominal 1.0-pound-per-cubic-foot (16.0kg/m3) density. The pads are molded in a form in which a cement slurry and polypropylene fiber mat are bonded to five sides of the EPS foam. The pad is offered in both a 2 inch (51mm) or 3 inch (76mm) thickness. The composite coating is approximately 7/32 inch (5.6mm) to 1/4 inch (6.4mm) thick on the pad surface. The equipment pads support air-conditioning compressor and condensing units as required per building code in accordance with the load limitation set forth in Package Metrics.
